La carrera de Inglés es una profesión que contribuye con el mejoramiento del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma extranjero, está fundamentada en teorías científicas que permiten enfocar los métodos, técnicas y estrategias más apropiadas para facilitar la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos y la aplicación práctica de competencias comunicativas. El aprendizaje del idioma Inglés es importante para el desarrollo de la sociedad en el Siglo XXI, en respuesta a un mundo globalizado, que exige el conocimiento de este idioma en diferentes áreas: productivas, económicas, científicas, tecnológicas, sociales y educativas como una herramienta de comunicación e información que permita el desarrollo de los pueblos.

At the same time, the participation of all students achieved so that they can socialize and meet new topics related to writing the teacher of English would publish. Therefore, the most important point of this work is to contribute with an academic blog based on writing strategies such as writing prewriting and revising in order to determine the importance of using blogs to promote the practice of academic writing in English. In this research was applied a survey of eight questions for students and teachers in order to know their opinions and knowledge of using a blog to improve writing skill. The proposal planned try about a Methodological model of Evaluation in the polyvalent system in order get an interest in the teaching-learning process in the English of the "Luis Fernando Ruiz "high school of Latacunga city, Cotopaxi Province. The points that we will use in our investigative work are supported in the necessity to obtain a dynamic evaluation at the moment to evaluate students. We count with useful and applied instruments which allowed to collect the substantial information, also we analysis the results which are represented in charts and bar graphs with them we deduce some conclusions, which helped us to detect the Evaluative Process weakness in the Polivalente System. We consider this aspect as main point in the Teaching- Learning Process; we established that is necessary to elaborate this proposal as an alternative with new and modem techniques of evaluation which get significant learning in the second years of the Polyvalent Bachelor's degree, in the Secretarial Accounting of the Feminine Technical "Luis Fernando Ruiz" High School of Latacunga. Also the evaluation process in the Polyvalent system, It must be applied in appropriate way by English Teachers, who should use more innovative, motivate and creative techniques of evaluation.

It was possible to determine that the Teachers in the mentioned Institution use the text of the CRADLE Project like the only didactic material and they just worry about completing all the activities described there without providing the students a clear explanation on how to do them. Therefore, it becomes a titanic task and the student in such a situation of not knowing how to complete them at home looks.

In the first chapter we have the utilization of audiovisual, used techniques, their importance, the audiovisual materials that we need to develop the class and description on each one of them. In the second chapter we presented an analysis of each one of the interviews and carried out surveys. In the surveys of the teachers present an acceptance in the utilization of new materials like it is the computer. In the interviews from the directive of some Institutes of the city allow us more once to check than in the English's area there are deficiencies and is necessary to capture the attention of the sutudent of a loud way. So, in our third chapter we detailed our proposal, it is the utilization of a new audiovisual technique in order to be used in the laboratories, through the utilization of a computer, and we could combine it with the Infocus and of this manner to achieve an Inter-learning student teacher, all this is possible with imagination.

This investigative research provides information about the causes that affect the practice of the English language at "Pedro Vicente Maldonado" school. It was applicator the survey technique, which permitted us the analysis and determination of the principal cause at the development of the four skills. At the finish this investigation the group proposes some alternative solutions for the mastery of the abilities through the elaboration of the model of ludico didactic strategies in orders to get a dynamic - didactic English learning. Education constitutes evaluative changes; teachers must modernize every day, because society needs a high level of knowledge.

Currently, the study and practice of the English language is a necessity due to globalization in communication, marketing, and cultural exchange from one hemisphere to another. This justifies the present work, which suggests active learning techniques for this area of study in schools.

Un curso de nivelación es; un grupo de lecciones aplicadas a estudiantes que tienen déficit de conocimientos acerca de un determinado tema con relación al resto de los integrantes del grupo. Por lo enunciado dicho curso permite nivelar los conocimientos con los cuales las estudiantes llegan al nivel secundario. Permitiendo iniciar con bases firmes, la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos en la asignatura de inglés, facilitando el proceso enseñanza - aprendizaje tanto al maestro como al estudiante. El mismo que sin lugar a duda ayudará a equiparar conocimientos elementales del Idioma Inglés, basándose en los lineamientos de los Colegios del Ciclo Básico Artesanales de la ciudad de Latacunga, en los que se desarrolló la investigación. Este trabajo contiene temas básicos con material didáctico de fácil manejo que permite conocer contenidos elementales sobre el Idioma Inglés, los mismos que han sido elaborados en base a las necesidades de las estudiantes; tomando en cuenta que la mayoría de ellas poseen un bajo nivel de conocimientos del idioma inglés, debido a que provienen de las escuelas del sector rural de la ciudad de Latacunga.

As teacher is our duty motivate and increase the reading and writing skills through activities to can interested students to read and write, establish activities according with real life. Here we suggest techniques and activities like: Jigsaws, Word in context, Skimming, Scanning, Predicting, Inference, and the Scientific Method to develop reading. And we also suggest work with Copying, Dictation, Linking and Summarize as techniques to help students to develop their weakness
- ItemAssessment techniques in reading comprehension.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2018-07) Cóndor Martínez, Mayra Susana; Pazuña Zumba, Mayra Elizabeth; Castro Bungacho, Sonia JImenaThis research work was conducted in order to diagnose the assessment techniques to improve the reading comprehension in the teaching English language. For this reason, it researched the current situation of assessment techniques in reading comprehension in the English language, the problems that students find while they read a text in English and why it is important for teachers to know and apply assessment techniques in reading comprehension in English during class. To make this study possible was applied a survey to 4 teachers in the English area at ´Madison High School´ Educational Unit. The survey consisted in a questionnaire of 10 structured questions, which allowed to identify strengths and weaknesses that English teachers have when applying the assessment techniques of the reading comprehension in English language. This research was developed through a descriptive methodology that allowed to obtain information from the analysis and discussion of the results. Taking into account the criteria of the teachers, the research reveal that they do not know the assessment techniques and this hurts the students since they need to learn and understand the English language. Finally, it was evidenced that the assessment techniques in the reading comprehension in the English language are not applied. According to the data obtained, it was determined that it is important for the teachers to use different assessment techniques to know the students´ learning progress. To conclude, the impact of this study is that future researchers can use this research work to research into possible proposals related to adequate assessment techniques to develop reading comprehension in elementary school.
- ItemAudiovisual material design methodology based on the book Cradle Project ´Our world through English´ for English language teaching for students in the third year of basic education Education Unit San José La Salle / (Registro nro. 2054)(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi:( UTC), 2007-08-27) Toscano Borja, Santiago Xavier; Cueva, MarthaThe development of communication skills, using English as a foreign language, represented a climactic problem in the educational environment at "Educational Unit San Jose La Salle." The failings of the institution and the dissent between docents and students became more noticeable with each day, given the total lack of practical language application in real situations. It was sought then to verify the achievement of domination of the four English language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) through the application and utilization of audiovisual material. For this reason, the primary research objective consisted in evaluating the different levels of student progress in the development of the aforementioned English language skills by way of designing audiovisual material based on the methodology of the Project Book CRADLE "OUR WORLD THROUGH ENGLISH for third year of Basic Education with the ultimate goal of standardizing the didactic processes. In order to achieve this objective, the proposal was supported in a qualitative investigation, given that it focuses a real problem that affects a social group and is founded in guideline questions. The enforceability and functionality of the methods and techniques that were employed, allowed to obtain a knowledge of the real situation supported by a theoretical basis, the same also being based on bibliographical sources. The validity and dependability of such were determined under the support of the applied instruments with the assurance of increasing subject interest in administration, teaching staff, and students alike. This result serves as a basis for future projects and applications of this research in other Ecuadorian educational institutions, given that it represents a contribution with the potential to elevate the quality of education found in "Educational Unit San Jose La Salle," of the city of Latacunga.
