    Desarrollo de una aplicación web para la gestión de citas médicas e historiales clínicos pediátricos con el uso del framework django en el “Centro Médico Infantil Juvenil” en la ciudad de Quito.

    Technology is fundamental in the field of healthcare, which is why this study focuses on developing a web application for managing medical appointments and medical records at the "Centro Médico Infantil" in Quito city, using the Django framework. The study aimed to systematize the management of clinical processes and improve communication between patients and doctors. The need for this application arose because processes were previously conducted manually or with common digital tools, limiting the center's ability to manage appointments, medical records, and visualize patients' growth curves in real-time. To define the scientific and technical aspects, bibliographic research was conducted in academic repositories and reliable websites, as well as studies on agile methodologies. Requirements gathering was held through interviews with the doctor and his secretary, and Likert scale surveys, allowing for an accurate identification of patient needs. The project was developed using the Scrum methodology to ensure efficient management, and tools such as Django and SQLite, based on the Model-View-Template architecture, were employed. As a result, a web application was successfully implemented, improving the management of pediatric medical appointments and medical records, thereby optimizing efficiency at the "Centro Médico Infantil" and facilitating better monitoring of patients' health status.
