    “Liderazgo y desarrollo organizacional en la compañía de transportes Vencedores de Pichincha Vepiex S.A. del cantón Quito”

    Leadership becomes the rudder that guides organizational development towards new growth frontiers. This research focuses on analyzing how leadership relates to organizational development at the Transport Company Vencedores de Pichincha VEPIEXS.A. to optimize its processes. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach and a deductive-hypothetical method, using two instruments, each divided into four dimensions: the first questionnaire on transformational leadership and the other on organizational development. Both were rated using a Likert scale from 1 to 5 and applied to a sample of 70 employees. The collected data was tabulated in the SPSS statistical software version 29. Based on this, the hypothesis test was verified using the Pearson R correlation coefficient of 0.018, which was less than 0.05, allowing the alternative hypothesis to be accepted. This means that there is a relationship between leadership and organizational development at the TransportCompany Vencedores de Pichincha VEPIEXS.A. The research concludes that results revealed that most of the company’s employees perceive a high level of both transformational leadership and organizational development, with 81.4%. This means that applying effective leadership leads to good organizational development. To maintain and improve the company’s high level, it is proposed that the action plan proposed within this research be employed to achieve reasonable work performance. The findings of this research will not only contribute to the academic body of knowledge in the field of leadership and organizational development but will also provide VEPIEX S.A., with valuable insights to improve its leadership strategies and foster sustainable growth in the long term.
