    Carga parasitarias y condiciones hematológicas en Ovinos Criollos alimentados en sistemas de produccin tradicionales en el cantón Pujilí.

    The present project was carried out in the parish Zumbahua at the communities of Guantopolo, Yanashpa, Michacala, Yanaturo, Saraugsha, Quilapungo, Tigua Hawacucho, Quilapungo. The main objective in this project is to evaluate the load gastrointestinal parasites, about the type of parasite that can be found, and hematological conditions in Creole sheep fed traditional production systems in the Canton Pujilí, improving health management and productive yields. Hemograms and parasitic copro had to be performed and through this following results were made known. A dehydration of 20% was found in Yanashpa and 22.2% in Quilapungo. Dehydration may be due to several factors such as the environmental conditions where animals are located, giving 10% dehydration in the sampled units. Hematological analysis showed normocytic normochromic anemia with a percentage of 8%, macrocytic hypochromic anemia with 2% and microcytic hypochromic anemia with 16%. The causes of the presence anemias may be due mainly ironing deficiencies in the blood, coprological analysis evaluated the presence of Oocyst Eimeria spp, egg Ostertagias spp, grub trichostrongylus, egg strongylosis spp, parasites which could influence presence of anemia in sheep. However, several factors such as the lack of a good management system, feeding and climatic conditions could be consequent causes the presence of anemia and parasitic, so management plan was created on based of needs about this project improving its productive deficiencies and contribute positively to the sheep production.
