- ItemAnálisis del alimentador Shuara ante fenómenos tipo descarga atmosférica usando la herramienta computacional ATP-EMTP(Ecuador: Latacunga: UNiversidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Cedeño Paladines, Byron; Valenzuela, AlexThis research work contains the analysis of a medium voltage feeder (13. 8kV) to lightning phenomena by using computational tools such as ATP-Draw that allows the development of this research in the oil sector, a real state circuit was simulated by subjecting it to different modeling criteria, with emphasis on the magnitudes of lightning discharges as established by CIGREE (Brochure 63) in different areas of the planet, as a result of this, the different factors that are part of the problem The low percentage of correctly landed structures, at 21% of the total, compromises the primary circuit's shielding system. To address this, a model is being developed to increase the percentage to 51%, ensuring system stability when insulators are in optimal condition. However, if the insulation system is suboptimal, pollution in the area can compromise line shielding. To mitigate this, a manual (Appendix 2) outlines best practices for periodic maintenance without disrupting power supply to oil extraction pumps and water re-injection. By implementing these measures, the frequency of transient fault-related outages can be reduced in this oil feeder located in northeastern Ecuador.
