The research was carried out in Canton La Maná, Cotopaxi Province, between April and August to evaluate the application of plant extracts of coffee and cinnamon in the production of cucumber (Cucumis sativus. L), using a completely randomized block design with factorial arrangement A*B (2*3+1) with six treatments plus control and three replicates. Study variables included plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves/flowers, number of fruits at harvest, fruit weight, fruit diameter, fruit length, and economic analysis. Among the main results: the greatest plant height at 15, 30 and 45 days was observed in treatment seven with coffee extract at a dose of 1.00 g/liter of water, the greatest number of leaves at 45 days was presented in treatment 6 and 7 with coffee and cinnamon extract at a dose of 0.50 and 1.00 g/liter of water, the greatest stem diameter recorded at 45 days in treatment four with cinnamon extract at a dose of 0.50 g/liter of water in this same treatment the greatest number of flowers was recorded; the highest production and fruit weight at the first harvest was recorded in treatment six with cinnamon extract at a dose of 1.00 g/liter of water and for the second harvest in treatment 7 with coffee extract at a dose of 1.00 g/liter and the best benefit/cost ratio was presented in the treatments with coffee and cinnamon extract at a dose of 1.00 g/liter, demonstrating that the application of plant extracts of coffee and cinnamon at a dose of 1.00 g/liter of water is a reliable alternative for cucumber production.
