    This research emerged with the aim of developing a user manual free software SmartNet Admin in order that students use in the Social Entrepreneurship in the Commercial Engineering career from the Technical University of Cotopaxi, which will contribute to the improvement of the teaching and learning process and to the relationship between teacher and students. The study was descriptive. In order to collect information about the knowledge and use of NTICS in the Subject of Social Entrepreneurship, a questionnaire was designed. It was used to interview teachers. Moreover, a questionnaire survey was used with students. These research tools allowed determining the feasibility to the development and implementing of a user manual of free Software SmartNet Admin, since teachers and students of the Commercial Engineering Career frequently use NTIC'S as means of communication but not as instrument for doing research and real practice of business activities within and outside the campus. The implementation of this software and the design of the user manual will facilitate the active student participation and interaction with others. In this way the independent learning will be fostered helping students process information to get knowledge.
